Hey guys,
Today I found a 1993 Nissan NX for sale for $850. It's the inline 4 2.0 SR20DE engine. The interior is pretty shity and the windshield is cracked. The engine has 142,000 miles on it. Is it worth buying? Should I talk them down some? My 1988 Pulsar NX XE is in better condition than the 93 NX but the 93 NX has 145 horsepower compared to my 70 horsepower engine. Aiight, need some feedback. Later guys.

well considering that in aus$ that is only 1,128.66 AUD. I paid 10grand for my 1993 nxr in pristine condition. With those high miles i would say that its a good price for a parts car but thats about it. just seems to cheap, even if it is in america.

We gotta remember in the US cars are dirt cheap, so it's all relative. Non roadworthy NXs go on ebay from US$800 all the time...
If you have service history to show the car's been maintained properly it should have lots of life left in it... failing this you can just drop a new sr20, the sentra se-r and infiniti g20 also have these so they're pretty common over there.
The interior is pretty cheap plastic to begin with but u can always paint it and resurface worn areas.
Let us know how u go!

Depends on what you want to do man. For $850, if the body's straight, no rust still runs, and you have a backup car, I'd say it's an ok deal. But...you're intending on leaving it stock and not replacing the motor/tranny pretty soon with a JDM high compression SR20DET, DET or a VE, I'd skip it. Might want to get some more opinions on this on sr20forum.com, but I think you'll hear more of the same.
