Ok, so today ive noticed that when im goin slowly and turning like a 90 degree (like turning in2 my driveway or in parking areas) i get the painful squeak coming from definately the front drivers side wheel arch and possibly the passenger one aswell does anyone have any clue what this could be?? i dont think its power steering rack cos ive just had a recond rack and pinion put in, and the noise isnt the same as when my rack and pinion was shot that sounded more like a grind and was felt through the steering wheel, this noise just sounds painful...
so has anyone got any ideas on what could be making the noise???
thanks in advance people :)

if car is in motion... i would guess teh tyre rubbing :devilburn
if it only makes the sound wen it like... hits a bump or so, then i would guess a shock.. :mafia:
other wise i would only be guessing your rack, maybe low fluid ??

There are a few things, it could be, sometimes the bushings wear out on the sway bars, and then they rub against the inner fender.
The other thing it could be is a missing/worn out sway bar end link bushing.
Might also be the spring moving in the spring seat, or a bad spring seat bearing that sits between the upper spring seat and the strut tower.

Sounds more to me like you got a bad lower ball joint in the A arm. The other is maybe the sway bar link is worn or no good. I know mine are broke and they make a clunking noise. I gotta fix that one day. The other is the bushings that hold the lower control arm to the frame could be shot or frozen up. Your gonna have to nose around under thier to find it.
