How Many Km

Hi , i put full tank the other day , only drove 250km in the city not freeway , and the tank is empty in my 1989 nissan exa ... can someone tell me why so little km with a full tank? what do you guys usally get ?

500+ KM on 30L of 94 octane when driving properly.
300 +/- 50 KM on 30L when stomping on the peddles.

LIke the previous post it al depends on how hard u drive your car.
i drive my car pretty hard so i think i get about 300-350km per a tank...
and i usually use premium....
if ur driving long distances then of course u will get better kms....i drive alot of short distances hence my crap kms..

are you seeign much black "smoke" out your exhaust when you drive hard?

my exa was spitting black smoke, a tell tale sign of running rich.... at one stage it was so bad i got 170km off a tank when driving sedately :help:

I usually get through about half a tank every 2 weeks and do a fair bit of driving.

On a cruise where you fully thrash your car a lot I use about half a tank in a couple of hours so yeah it is how you drive it. Now that I've had a car for 6 months I tend to not rev it as high as I used to and I get a lot more out of a tank then i used to.

I drive me GTi sedately and get 600Km to a tank but taht was only once, when I had food poisoning

Normally I get 450 to 30L but thats cruising around at 4000REVs+

the bonus of having an 8000rpm redline, mmmm
