Mounted the rear diff x-member mounts yesterday, and mounted the front x-member to the core support, also noticed I need to bring the motor forward on the passanger side by like 1/4-1/2" the 1/2 shaft boot is too close to the sub frame, and it wouldnt move forward because of the shifter support rod, so I will have to adjust that so I can bring the motor forward slightly. (So thats the next project)
Other than that, I started cleaning up the IC piping, and I painted the cool pipe with some hammertone finish grey, should look pretty good.
I'm going to work on mounting the FMIC permanently soon too, it was just sorta sitting up there. I found that hardware stores sell that aluminum stair edging very cheap, so that will be my brackets to keep the FMIC in position (cheap and light)
Sway bars were ordered yesterday too, so hopefully in about 3-4 weeks I should have those, I got spanked slightly on shipping, like $90 to get the bars here.... but I have to have them.
Other things I have recently purchased: Fcon & harness (Fcon is going on ebay when I get it), Nismo Front Strut Tower Brace for GTIR, some Rear strut tower brace that I will likely have to modify to work on my car, all my Aeromotive fittings & filters.
More to come....
