Does anyone know where in Adelaide to get new replacement struts for the rear hatch and how much I would be looking at for a pair? Obviously I could try to get them through Nissan but I’m sure they would cost a fortune through them.
Also has anyone had theirs recharged before - Is that a better way to go and how much did it cost?

I ended up getting both of mine recharged at a place called GSR for $66. I don't have to worry about the hatch coming down on my head anymore but now I need to use 2 arms to shut it (I reckon I'll end up dislocating my shoulder if I continue to try to use only one arm). :heehee:

can you adjust them or get them to take some oil out, they sound like they over filled them

The main reason I have to use both arms is I'm pretty short and have to fully reach out to reach the top of the hatch (those with NX's will know about not having anything the to grab to shut the hatch). This just means I can't have my arms full when shuting it like I use to - I would rather this though than having it come down on my head when it felt like it.

I've been hit in the head by my bootlid once. Wasn't funny as you can imagine! :chair: Though the struts only seem flat at night - they're A-okay during the day.

My boot doesnt stay up either- I have a cricket bat in the boot for that reason (and others!) but is it pretty common for Nxs?
