Man, if u wan it quiet, make sure the exhaust has a resonator on it an a huge muffler. Something like a 5inch cannon. 2 1/4 will be perfect for the car. Make sure they are putting a high flow cat. Are you geeeing extractors.

How much do extractors cost, bare in mind that i know fuck all bout exaust systems, and no exhaust shop i go into will explain and help me with what i need.....
so wot i was thinking ... went in today, that im gonna get there off the shelf baffled sports muffler wid a nice tip and 2. 1/4 inch piping...
i was told by 2 exhaust shops that a high flow cat in my car is not worth putting in, and my budget is not huge either, what do u think bout my low cost easy option'
oh yer my exaust manifold is fuked too, ummmm yer i know all about that :), so how much will one cost...????

All i have on my exa is a Cat bak system, which means from the cat back i have a 2 1/4" pipe running into a 3a racing stainless 4" mulfler, It cost me $180 for the mulfler an $40 for the cat bak pipe.
And it was so loud the drone gave me the shits so i put a 4" long resonator, it cost me $60.
If you cat is ok then keep it. Extractors just get 4 -1 (meaning 4 pipes into 1. dont get more than a 2 1/2" pipe unless its a turbo even then thast pushing it, all up it should cost
Extractors $250
Pipes/bending $100
Mullfer Stainless $200 or a Steel one for $100,
Some places might round it down to $500 aim for about that
Good luck

Hi-Flo cats are a must man, its like sqeezing a straw and trying to suck through it, its easier not to sqeeze it. How much have you got. Bout 600-700 dollars you should pay a full system (if u need custom extractors), cat back systems really aren't worth the money. The guy who owned my car previosly did a dump pipe back job on mine and it really does nothing. Extractors are a must, specially if you manifold is stuffed. If you cant afford alot, spend less on your muffler, i.e don't get a huge shiny cannon, get a normal steel muffler with a nice tip yet hi-flo.

yeh i only got a cat bak system cause i didnt have the money for the rest and the pipe past the cat was splitting down the seam and i already had the stainless muffler from my ET pulsar so that didnt cost me a cent, I plan to get the rest just as soon as i get the cash.
