No

Edit:
No offence, but the issues arising from the conversion have been documented including the problems faced and the changes that have to be made.
The amount of times weve been asked for EVERY little detail of the swap
plus the amount of time spent explaining it over and over is quite draining... only to be told at the end of the dialog "hmmm I might just do the CADET."
It gets frustrating.
Sorry,
But have a read thru these links, hope they answer your Qns

PS The fact is, as Gareth says @ http://www.nissanexa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11549

"...and the chances of you actually doing all this?.. sorry it just seems like everyone talks pretty seriously about and wastes everybodies time when they know that they are never gonna get the money. And its usually the ones that say money is no object, because money is always an object!"

no offence to you 2 but "NO" doesnt cut it especially from a moderator. perhaps its not gonna happen which is fair enough, but instead of just saying "no" how bout you explain why not so that the user isnt just shutdown and left hanging in cyber space?

For the record, i dont think trying to do an sr20det conversion by your self is a good idea (unless your a mechanic) BECAUSE theres stuff like custum engine mounts to be made and i think new gear box and some drive train work (dont quote me). so it can get very nasty very quickly.

note also added to this.. for this page to be a step by step thing with photos.. someone has to spend the thousands of dollars just to do the conversion.. So I agree with the no answer plus its a unique thing.. if you want to do it.. the people with it may help you if they can but that truley is up to them..

Thankyou Newbie.

Pom Pom. If you want to spend the time to become a moderator and then spend the time and money to do the conversion and document and take pictures and measure all along the way, go right ahead. Until then, dont tell us that No isn't acceptable. The question was obviously directed at the four or five people that have done the conversion, so I think we have every right to give an honest answer without you objecting. Also remember that we have both made contributions to the current sr20 conversion info on the site.

That being said, I'm happy to help out anyone who is doing the conversion, but I wont be writing a book on it.

"i dont think trying to do an sr20det conversion by your self is a good idea (unless your a mechanic)"

I'm not posting this to have a go at you pom pom, because I agree with this quote.... but i have to add that if you are capable of doing the conversion by yourself, then you shouldn't need a complete step by step guide. Sure its good to have a rough guide to follow, but anything else would've been covered in those threads pretty well.
