Hey hey hey. Seen a honda civic (Cough cough) go past with blue headlights. PPL I want these. Can these be purchased for an exa? How does one install them and are there different sizes for different cars? So what does an exa need?

Cheers

Go to AutoBarn and ask for blue look headlight globes.

You need two H4 globes, standard wattage is 60/55W (high/low beam).

I take it they are all US$?

Are your lights sealed beam from the factory?
Ours accept H4 from the factory..

It looks like the main aim of summit's kit is to convert from sealed beam to h4 compatable.

yep $us and i believe all US pulsars have sealed beam... at least mine did. and it is now converted to accept H4. Hmmm didn't know that they accepted h4 from the factory. I wish mine were before would have saved me about 60 bucks!

Jess thoses lights in your bumper bar are not you headlights :)

The aftermarket bulbs you can buy may have a blue lens etc or a rainbow lens which is there to filter out the light so that what comes out the front of the headlight is pure white light even though it looks blue it is actualy white.

If you compare the blue bulbs say Xenon bulbs to a standard H4 clear bulb you will see that the standard bulb is actuall yellow/orangish.

You cannot get defected for blue head lights cause its actually not blue well in some cases there are bulbs which do make it blue but there for looks Xenon bulbs are ok if you have blue/green red etc spot light then you can be defected same with parking light bulbs

Well ya in Perth.... ummm.... they call it blue lite... etc... but as sumone said they r actually white lite.... i got em from... yes i kno... Marlows.... $30+ better than the original yellow lite that have crap illuminosity... as ppl said u actually can get those blue lites and stuff... u can even get headlites that change colour... from white - blue - purple - green and they just change every few seconds... commodore was behind me and i must admit i dont get y all those blue water jets = defect .... but those changing headlites annoyed the &^%* out of me!!!

just becareful u kno what WA police are like l8ly.. targeting jap and sports cars... so there is a good chance of gettin caught and defected

sorry bout tha long post

i was next to the new ferrari 360, last night at a light and when I got in front of them there was no doubt that the headlights where blue, more than likely factory, but anyhow would they get a defect where some of you guys are?Just curious.

hrmmm... pretty strict in Australia.... if the car comes factory with pedals lights etc... they r legal.... if the customs dont like em they will b removed and put on the market minus them... but yeah cops over here are picky about dressup accessories.... its bad though... but i guess there is legit reasons y they = defect
