Stupid questions

I you don’t already know I bought my Exa on Xmas eve. My previous ride was an ET pulsar replica (which is for sale) I just have some stupid questions about my new ride.

Stupid questions:
1: Do I use more fuel with the roof off? & what’s the average k’s to a tank?
2: I went to Northfeild to get a parcel shelf made apparently you can’t have wooden shelves in hatches, they suggested a roll out curtain any idea’s?
3: Is there a good wreckers in Brisbane that’s has an abundance of Exas?
4: I had a bunch more but I’ve forgotten them right now but I will put them up

1) not really much different (depends on what type of driving)... i get about 400kms to tha take doing a long trip with a bit of city driving!

2) yes u can have a wooden one! Y dont u make one urslef?

3) no idea

I need to get my hands on the black plastic strip just behind the window and the piller, the car yard where i got the car had them nicked, they said their getting some in from japan, but i dont think so. I'm thinking about finding some and gettiong them to pay for them.

do pulsars have a problem with the fuel guage, it always reads 1/4 a tank out. My n12 pulsar did it mums vector does it and now my new exa does it. Does any one else have this problem and is it worth fixing.

yeh nissans or pronouned for it!

If it doesn't bother you dont worry about it! u prolly just need to clean/replace tha fuel level sensor!

if it not written down on paper.... then they arent braking a contract (legally) well if its not written down and both partys havent signed it... then if u go to take them to small claims court etc.. ull have no chance really... cause itll be your word agaisnt theres...
but yea keep hasleing the guy / girl who u spoke to.. it might be coming from japan.. but i reakon they would have them in the warehouse (nissan in melb)...

and for the fuel problem.. ull most likely have to replace the fuel guage level (inside the tank)

got one more question.

When my lights are on do the wiperlights and headlights lights ment to light up on the dash. MY Hazard and rear de fog lights up, i was wondering if the rest are ment to also.:D

My guage is off by about a 1/4 too (ie: full tank is only at 3/4, and empty on the guage means 1/4 to go!!) Seems to be fairly common.

As for your dash "pod" lights, what you have described is normal. Only the hazard and demister buttons light up. (Top left and top right respectively.)
