Hey Guys

I got a 92 NXR in Perth. Was wondering if any of you guys has experienced rattling in your windows especially when idling? The tint has also pretty much come off in the same spot on both windows. Do i need to get new roller thingies put in for the windows or is it caused by wear of the tint going up and down throughout the years?

Anyone else had these problems??

Seems to be alright if you close the door with the window up but if you put it down then up your are buggered.

1 other thing the targa tops anyone ever tried to take them apart cos i got shit rattling in there too!

Cheers

i got the same thing with the windows down and closing the door, im sure there is something in the door that you can tighten...

if not, perhaps roller thingies would be on the cards

mine rattles a little when halfway down but when all the way up hits the side plastic strip of the car and gets stuck. :homer: I have already broke it off but just glued it back on. dont know why it does that. I have ripped the door apart to try to adjust it but it didnt seem to work.

yeah i have tried ripping the door apart but it aint very user friendly and i wouldnt have a clue what to adjust.

I am just thinking bout taking it to nissan and letting them sort it out if they can.

Mine does it too, but only on the drivers side. I guess you could check the rails and make sure that the window is held firmly.

On the N13 there's two adjustment points behind the door trim. Fairly easy once you see them, but it allows you to adjust the height of the glass slightly and also the angle that the glass tilts in onto the seals (so they seal a bit tighter).

they seal ok just when up all the way opening the door they catch to black cover
