Hey Guys

I am just about to get some new brake pads and wondered what brand you use and if anyone could recommended any or had any bad experiences. Or has anyone ever done any brake upgrades?

Thanks

I've had great success with Cebco Brakes on my N13... although since doing my brake upgrade (n15sss discs & calipers), I've been using the Bendix 4WD pads that came with it & they've been pretty damn good as well. I'm fairly hard on my brakes from time to time due to a lot of freeway use & the occaisonal blast around corners, but I still need them to be fairly good at low temps because I hit a bit of traffic everyday as well. I'm happy with both of these, but I'll probably buy a set of the Cebco Street Performance next time and see how they go.

I'd say the Bendix ones would suffice.

If you want a cheaper upgrade put performance pads in your car I got the axxis ceramic pads in the front of my car and it brakes very good. ( Extremly touchy though ) I couldnt even tell that my back brakes were almost gone untell I heard them.

Ive got EBC greenstuff on the front, good pads but hardly dust-free.

Id get either greenstuff or bendix ultimate/4wd if I were you.

Heard from a brake dealer that bendix are very dusty, he seemed to think EBC greenstuffs were a much beter pad in the dust department. He also mentioned that bendix has a tendency to chew discs, this has been mentioned on the pulsar forums aswell so i'm thinking there is a strong possibility it's the case.

Unless i hear damming evidence on greenstuffs by tuesday i'll have them in the front and EBC reg 90 in the back.

A couple of pulsar forum threads that may prove helpfull
