There's an NX 1600 sitting in the local auction yard and it will be up for sale next wednesday.. I went there today and I liked what I saw... There was only damage to the driverside taillight, the rear passenger quarter panel is all rusted out, and the window had a crack along the bottom of the windshield, but besides that, the frame seems in ok condition (the doors were locked so I couldnt look under the hood. It was also a 5spd incause you were wondering. I was wondering what would be a reasonable price range for this.. Keeping in mind that'd I'd have to replace the quarter panel, tail light, and possibly the window. I also have no clue how the engine runs but there's a 92 sentra in the junkyard with a ga16i.... Is the NX 1600 have a ga16i also?? i always thought it did...

The sooner the responses the better... Thank you =)

[edit] the car also has 202,000 km on it

Myself personally i wouldnt pay more than $6,500 for it. It has high km and needs work. With that many km it wont be long before something else brakes. I know u can pick up nxr's (2000) about $9,000 and nx's (1600) for $8,000. its an auction yard so it should go pretty cheap. im told the 1600 has a ga16de (dont know if thats the same as a ga16i, i = injected??)

Hope some of this helps.

Damn, i dunno exactly how much $NZ that exchanges to but I got my '90NX Coupe (after a little bit of haggling) for NZ$2500. Now the only problem was the seal on the paint had worn off and the left door paint was flaking a little but nothing a few hundred dollars didn't fix. How much $US do canadian dollars convert to?

yeah, no NX should go for more than $2000-$2500. i got mine(nx2000) with 98k miles and perfect condition for $3000.but if its a 1600....2000 tops.

(speaking in US dollars.)

both your 92 sentra and the nx1600 are ga16de, and your nx1600, i wouldnt pay more then 1500 for that, especially in that cond.

I would pay less than a $1G for that car. Who knows what else could be wrong with the car. I hope you can test drive it at least.
