Taking The Rear Bar Off

Has anyone atempted to do this ? As i need it repainted and cant afford to leave the car at the shop for a week is it possible to atleast take it off yourself?

yeah i have taken mine off before... it wasnt that difficult to take off.. but it was a bitch to put back on ... theres a few bolts inside the boot and underneth the bumper just take your time and u'll be alright
