cold air intake

has anyone ever tried to make a cold air intake like in this? (http://www.se-r.net/engine/cool_air_intake.html) And if so where do you get the stuff to do it and is it hard?

A friend of mine made one using some PVC piping on a VL commodore...

Just buy the bends and straights you need and stick them all together... get something suitable for an inlet... maybe a duct designed for speaker boxes

It's easy to do, but not necessarily pretty.
