cool gages

i got a cool gage install for you peeps remove your center vents and cut out the vent part then get a peace of plastic and bond it in then drill three holes in it and install 3 gages i used a volt airfuel and oil gage it look sick check it out

in the australian exas we already have volts and oil gagues on top of the dash.
But 10 point it looks great, only on thing where does your air come from now, maybe you could drill some small holes around the three gagues to let the air through

i olny drive the car in the summer you don't need air you still got the vents in the door i guess

By the way, is that you factory steering wheel? I never saw that style with the Nissan logo on it.

You know what would be mad, putting gauges in the door vent. You can flip it out when you want to look at it and put it away when you dont. Just a thought? Would it work???

i know someone who has the boost gauge in the side airvent it does look sick :) i aint gonna say who it is tho for fear he might kick my ass :) anyone got that stock gauge cluster from the exa? the center one? i want that ! that and the dohc steering wheel

NismoPlsr your interior is unreal. It has a real race look to it and the guages add to that look (ie: exposed screws and stuff :D )

N13s dont have a boost guage cos they dont have any boost to measure :rolleyes:

N12s have a boost guage but it only registers +/- 5 pounds

Packrat, on the Aussie cars it's part of the dash. I've been wanting to get one for almost two years now, even made a post or two with no help. I still want it but I've given up.

looks awesome guys! Im planning on doing something similar on my n12 with a carbon fibre pannel and having my boost switch on there, plus maybe sometihng else - rocket launchers maybe? lol

P.S. the standard boost guage on N12's measure -/+5 Hmmg, not psi - similar, but slightly different readings...

It would be sweet if you had lights, like warning lights and a shift light hiding behind the slats of an air vent. This would be in much the same way that Keyroo has fog lights hiding behind slats in his front bar.

I'll try to snap some pics of the boost gauge this weekend for you all... I do have some work in progress pics up, engine bay is sort of a mess, but thats the point, its all being gone through to claen it all up.
