Alright so i have my 17's ready to go on with 205/40's and i think i may just clear the spring casing. the wheel may just clear the shock too by like a millimeter!

:sad3:

been told that if the tyre is too close to the spring casing that i can just tap it in a bit and all will be cool.

All you other guys with 17's, do you have stock suspension or have you put coilovers in??

been told i could put 18's on with coilovers in, but the suspension place reakon that if my wheels are just about to touch the shock at the moment then the wheels wont even fit on with the coils in the way because they come down lower than the outside of the rim and tyre.

cheers guys

Hmmm well I have the same wheels/tyres - 205-40-17 and both my old suspension & springs and new (monroe GT) suspension & king super-low springs fitted/fit fine... Are the springs on yours now the standard ones??

I have stock setup with 17's . It mostly fits the front does perfect, It the back that comes close I had to tap the shocks and it worked fine. It only came close to the guard not the spring at all.

yeah all the suspension is stock i am gonna get some springs and that shouldnt be a problem it was the inside of the rim touching the shock.

wondering how those people with coilovers got them on with 17's??

I had a whiteline n14 works set up installed on my b13 with 17's and never a problem at all, never even looked like rubbing and sat nice too.
