i'm switchin my seats atm and u need an E socket which u can buy for a hardware store, a normal socket will do it most of the time if ur careful but u risk treading the bolt, personally i reckon if ur gonna do a job u better do it right so i ordered in the socket, cost me 20 bucks... just my 2c,

i hate those bolts. i've wanted to take my seats out a few times now but the damn things have hualf the 'teeth' on the heads broken off, so i can't really do dick all about it. If i ever get them out, normal bolts are gonna go in.

I might try and find a smaller bolt/screw to hold my sub in the box, so no theving basted steals it

eek! $20 fer a socket ...
sorry to tell you after you already ordered it ... but you know those interchangeable sets you get for drills? with the black plug in tips?
well the socket that holds them is a PERFECT fit. it's 1/2 way between 2 other metric sockets. and you can pick up a whole set for about $6 at big w or hardware stores
looks like this ... i think it's 1/4 inch socket...

The bit you need is called a star-hex. Any local hardware store should have it.

or inverted torx...but an 8mm socket works just fine as long as you havent stripped the points off yet-hehe
