Car not Starting!!! ?

Hey guys
this morning i jumped into my car
it started straight away
drove it 2mins down the road to the service station
put in some petrol
paid for it, went to start my car and nothing happen

My turbo timer was going insane, clicking quicker and quicker like it was a rocket ready to take off
Was lucky that a mobile mechanic rocked up so he took a quick look, i thought it may be my turbo timer not letting the power through to the ignition, anyways
he said it looks like its the battery, and he jump started it straight away
got it home
wont start again

can a battery all of the sudden just die like that ?

yeah - batteries will allways fail at the most un-oppotune moment... Atleast it wasnt the night before with the 2 chicks ;)

mine also get this problem, and it is very much like yours.i get the starter rebuild bought a new battery, but it still can't start, RAC people say that it is about the wire, some part of it is not delivering power to the starter. gotta find someone to do the electrical work

:hitwall: i had the same prob with my car i put 2 new batts in my car and it just kept going for like a month till i changed my alternator apparently they have a prob with the regs if u take the revs to high the shit em-self. maybe u should look at that but i havent had the prob since
