A while ago that happened to my car after the mechanic changed a CV boot, don't know why it happened, we checked the self diagnosis on the ABS computer and it was the sensor on the side where the boot was changed. Tried cleaning it but didn't help, replacing it sorted the problem out, it's something that just happened.

Probally a bad ABS sensor, I have the codes which will tell you which wheel it is. Let me look for it and tell you later. In America, the ABS computer is in the right side kick panel. It has a green light which blinks and can tell you which sensor is bad.

It is supposed to turn on just as you start the car. Read something about buying NX's a while back and it mentioned that if it didn't come on when the car was first started you shouldn't buy the car because it means the light has probably been disconected to hide a ABS fault.
Long story short it should bilnk on when you start the car just as a precaution along with the rest of the warning lights so that you know the lights themselves are working and haven't blown, that way if something does go wrong you'll know instead of missing it cause of a faulty globe.
