the standard 4 inch ones in the n12 are different to the n13 ones i believe, they dont handle much power, but good to return a car to factory ie standard stereo. by the way i can only find one not the pair.

the original n13 speakers are a 7w clarion speaker, and i think the original speakers in the n12 are a 5w clarion speaker(but don't quote me on it)

Whaen i upgraded my system in my ET i just bought a pair of 4@ square Kenwood speakers fo $70 they just slot right in to the dash. You dont need the speaker cage tho.

Hey,
yeah - N12 factory speakers are 5w Clarion paper cone jobbies. Before you laugh at them - Im running 40w through them and they sounds half decent... lol and I only put them in cos they are lightweight! ;)

N12 factory speakers are 5w Clarion paper cone jobbies. That's right, mine are right here...

I only put them in cos they are lightweight!About the only reason for keeping them, I'd say.

I chucked an el cheapo MP3 CD deck in (about $85 from JBs) and was left with a hole in the dash where the tape deck lived. The size and shape of the hole reminded me of something... I stuck a CD in there, and it was nearly a perfect fit!

With a little box made of masonite or aluminium or some shit stuck inside, and a slight bit of work to the hole in the fascia panel to enlarge it a tad, it'll store days and days' worth of MP3s... : D
