Have any of you guys that have gone turbo had trouble with your alarm? Mine is stopping the fuel coming thru....
ARGH this conversion is driving me carzy everything that could go wrong has gone wrong and its costing me a shit load
And what about cruise control should that still work...?
I think i just choose the wrong mechanic ;(

ok so i have been told the ecu is the problem appparently the prong for the fuel pump isnt reaching i am using a u13 ecu with u13 motor and afm... so do you think the ecu is rooted or wah??

umm my alarm works fine, apart from when my turbo timer is active ha ha. What exactly happens. Are you not getting enough fuel??

I lost my cruise control when i went aftermarket ecu :hitwall: oh wait, :heehee: My main issue with the cruise was working with the quad throttle bodies, not so much the ecu, with the quads, it surged to much. I dont see why you wouldnt be able to get your cruise working with the u12/13 ecu. alternatively you could just throw a aftermarket cruise control at it if the mucking around was too time costly. Thats what im currently thinking i will do if i want cruise back, i miss it soooo much hahaha.

I suggest that may be a problem...

When you turn the key to ignition you should get a decent shot of fuel. Eg, when i had my new pump, turned key and it shot a jet of fuel fair across the garage haha. Fun way of testing which is supply and which is return, but hell stinky lol.

ok well it ends up cruise control works fine same with my alarm...the only thing i am not happy with now is it idles at 1 and a half...
but apart from that money well spent my face is sore from smiling so much...
