he fellas i bought my first car 2 weeks ago, its a 89 non turbo exa, and it flies, i got it for 2500 and it sweat as, it maroon and i wrekon i could easily sell it for 6k.

just thought i would say hello all, look forward to goin on a cruise as soon as possible.

so far i have put in 2 12" subs in da back with a 440ex xplode amp, cheap splits in the front :( but i also got alpine tweaters, it sounds pretty good, once i get proper subs it will go rank, apart from all the rattles each bass beat ARGHH. i alkso have to get a head unit lol, for now i am running it off a discman, and it sounds pretty sweet for running from a discman

if you guys have anything i should look for in my car thats a common problem i should know about i would be more then great full, there was a japenese runner put in sept last year, its goin good at the moment. must say i never thought a ca18de would run me down the highway at 190 k/h lol:D

Sounds alot like my car... i got my first car, a maroon 89 nissan exa for 3k, it now has two 12' subs etc. where bouts did u get your exa from?, sounds way too cheap!! you got a bloody good deal if that thing doesnt die in the ass in the next few weeks. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya! I went to a sound off on saturday and pulled 144.2Db out of my 12's in a sealed box... hey dude, diskmans arent that bad, at the sound off i went to everyone thought some guy was joking when he said it was running off a diskman, but he beat me in my class caz he had 2 15's with awesome quality subs and hit 144.4Db. so dont worry bout the diskman thing... get a head unit when u can, but diskmans are capable of the job. where bouts in brissie are ya dude? come along to the next "Go-kart" cruise THIS SUNDAY, if u can... it might be too late to come karting (caz its already booked, you'll have to check) but at least meet up with us at mt. yeah i was gunna try and make it up to mt gravatt, just to say hello but wont be karting unfortunatly, cant afford its on apprentiship wages. i got the car from another car electrition, that i met through work, i got it ureg, have to spend about 200 to get road worthy and reg nut a few things are on the way out, so far its cost me 3300, by about 3600 it will be near perfict and i can start saving for head unit hehe. (very glad i know a few mechanics). what subs you got, what kind of amp, i got cheap subs, i bought em for $35 from autobarn when i was like 13 and i bought a batterey charger and battery and hooked my amp to the battery, constantly charged the battery used to use em wif my home stereo, it was pretty kool hehe, what you find rattled the most in your car, cause it drives me fukken crazy all the rattles ay

sometimes that rattling turns out to be the number plate. just throw something behind it so it doesn't have any play in it. can be as simple as some cardboard (but realise that cheap and nasty will probally just get wet and fall out) but just an example.

thats our club logo on my hatch and the rattleing is probably the number plate or the hatch itself, just scrunch up a dish cloth and jam it as hard as u can under the number plate, i did it to mine, it cost me nothing, it never rattles and it hasn't fallen out in about 3 months. if its the hatch then buy a sportsbak.. good luck finding one... lol just try and use some sound deadening on ur normal hatch... good luck mate,

:hairgrow: Hi welcome , it seems like everyone is getting the bargains with the Exa's we bought our first one for 10g at a caryard 5 years ago, our 2nd i bought in Jan for 5.5g and i had some spare change in the bank and bought another in March for 4g. I would buy all the Exa's especially the turbo n13 that have been on net.... I live at Waterford have you seen me driving around in the last 2 months my car is Burgandy mettalic if not look out for me i will be on the streets, have 15' multifit alloy rims.
