hey is it possible for me to remove the black pine stripes that go around the car myself? will it be noticebly brighter if i can get them off? cos im thinking of getting them sprayed over but this would be much easier.. and also removing the blue solaire graphics, is that possible to do myself?

I took the silver pinstripes off of my car (cause my cars black) heres how:

I took a heat gun and heated the pinstripe breafly at one side and then when it got hot I started pulling slowly, moving the heat gun always infront of the pealed off pinstripe.
The trick is to heat the glue up so it loses its stickiness, you may be left behind with some glue gunk on your car, but just use some remover solution to get that off.

:DI think that painting them is probably the better idea.If u take them off as one of my friends did it left a filthy mark along the car and it needed to be buffed out.In certain light you can still see the mark it left.I got a quote to get the strips, mirrors, and mud flaps colour coded for $200 bucks.Well worth it i think!:D

yea use a blow dryer or a head gun, something that blows hot air, it comes off :)

I've done it to mine. I just peeled it off, didn't use a heat gun. I had one little spot under the mirror that peeled some of the paint off (door repair from previous owner) that I touched up with touch-up paint. Other than that I just cleaned the sticky residue off and all was good.
