cooling system prob

heya,

just recently got a problem wit my cooling system in my POS car.

the temp gauge is always sittin on the bottom whether the car is hot or not. this used to work a few days ago.

another thing, the thermo fans switch on as soon as the car starts, even first thing in the morning when the engines cold.

it also seems to use an awful lot of coolant if that has anything to do with it.

any ideas anyone?

if it is using coolant there are two possibilities, 1. its leaking somewhere.
2. you have a blown head gasket.

if its your head gasket it will either turn your oil white, or your car will blow steam.

the prob with the temp could be a fucked temp sensor, or a computer problem.
i would say either the sensor is buggered or the wire is off it, the guage on the dash would stop working,a nd the thermo's would come on for safety.
