I H8 nx/r head lights with a passion they look like weird freaked out eyes!!!! i have been told that honda integra head lights fit straight in does any one know if this is true and do you have pics?

apparently there is a member called 'guess' (i think that was it) lol
and was told he/she has many mods on there nx including integra lights?!?!

No head or tail lights fit straight in apart from NX lights. Its not really a simple job to fit new ones either.

The 'GUESS' nx has what looks like a veilside integra front bar with integra lights, and supra tail-lights. Lots of work would be involved inc. stuff like wiring which would be the least of your worries.

There are a few different headlight designs in Europe, most of which look like Falcon XR lights.

There is however a Kit - like a body kit -
that makes the NX have integra headlights

Blood is right, i forget where i saw it but there is another active thread at the moment talking about rear spoilers. One of those links have an insert for the headlights which make them look kinda like the integra lights.

This conversion has been done to varying degrees of success. I think a well done job looks very nice. But many ppl think its a rip off / ugly etc etc, but each to their own.

Guess was a veilside kit yes. I believe that the integra front it slightly wider, therefore in most cases, the integra kits need a small section in the front taken out to fit the nx nose.

I particularly like the grey car, i think that looks good. The white car has the eyebrows added and moulded, with the Erebuni front spoiler.

All due respect to owners of cars shown.

For the eyebrows talk to Koschi on sr20deforum. Here (http://koschi.bei.t-online.de/eyebrows/Eyebrows.pdf) is the information on them.

Those eye-mods from Carmate (the yellow one above) look alright but would block the lightbeam from the headlight too much. Integra lights may slot into them but I doubt it.

A while ago I was looking for what to do with the headlights, and the only cheap and easy thing I could find was kleensleepers headlight covers. See the pics below. I didnt get them though as I didnt like the idea of the double-sided tape sticking to the paint.

I was thinking of getting the eyebrows from sr20forum but never got to it. I even have a pic of them.

Yeah i though about getting those eyelids. But they look yuck if the are not moulded to the car.

Again, reduced headlight beam i guess.

and they're expensive considering you have to pay for postage, paint and fit them. unfortunately i don't think there's much around for nxs.... C word = custom :P

im not a big fan of the eyebrow's... i reckon the jetspeed covers look alright.. i wonder if they fit any front bar or are they made to only fit that front bar

I think it's pretty simple:

If you don't like them, then don't buy the car??

I mean there's no point buying a car if you really don't like one of its features. The NX headlights are a love it or hate it affair. Personally, I love it :)

nah man, im not a big fan of the headlights or the front bar but...

I love everything from the bonnet back, the sleek indent in the bonnet to the way it falls over the wheel arches, the targas of course with their windows for moonlit drives at night, the integrated and sexy door handles, the rear quater how it falls back to seamlessly find the rear hatch and the rear bar so nice. The beautiful space shuttle interior with plenty of room (considering) and the way the seat angles back so it feels like you're truley one with the car, from the power at take off to the gentle cruise along the highway.

I may not like the headlights but I love the car :D

i think nx's are ugly.

I bought one cos they have eveything that opens and shuts, are qik, handle well, and there are other engines easy to put in. I bought on that basis. They can however look good when modified.

And im allowed to say they are ulgy, cos i own one, so :teeeth: hehe

i think nx's are ugly.

agreed. It might get me banned, but I was after a 2L N14 pulsar when I found my nx-r for a price that I could not resist. I looked in about 20 caryards over 3-4 months and only saw one pulsar (it was auto) but about 9 NX.

The front looks too much like a big nose how it curves and the rear makes me think of a CC shape lancer coupe. At least side on it sorta looks 300zxish.

tissue that sounds frightfully familiar, i was in the same boat as that mate, i was looking for a n14 sss but i found my nxr for the right price, it had evrything that opened and shut and had an sr standard, i offered a ridiculouse price for it and the guy accepted.
I also think they are not the best looking car as a whole but i believe when they are lowered, bigger wheels, and tinted windows is how they look the best, when they get bodykits and shit they look far to riced up. (same class as hondas :P)
The thing that REALLY grabed my attention was the interior, the look, the ergonomics and how a tall fella like me can easily fit into them. mmmm leather steering wheel, gearknob, electrics, cruise, abs, 2.0l, uh huh!!!!!
And to top it off they rock as a stereo car, nice small cabbin, nicely angled rear window, uh huh!!!
Still want my MR2 though, true sports car........
