Hey fellow B13 owners,
I'm chasing side shots of NX's, preferably lowered with 17" wheels. I need to replace my springs, and I'm not sure whether to go for 2" or 2.5" (or something in between).
Some pics of NX's with stock springs and wheels would be helpfull too, that way I can see how high they are stock and go from there.
Quick specs would be good too (which springs, how low, rim size and tyre profile).
In case you were wondering, I've got some lowered springs in there atm, but don't know what height they are.
Thanks :shades:

Thanks. After a bit of reading I've decided to settle on some King Springs 2" lower. Don't want to be sitting on the bump stops or have a seriously bouncy ride.
jpower, how are you finding the Monroes GT's? How is the ride? How long have you had them in there?
Thanks.

had them in for less than a week and they are fine, the car isnt too low only an inch and half or so, so it isnt too bump and doesnt scrape every damn thing. There is still bodyroll though but thats due the height of the car.

Hey boys havn't been on dis forum for ages - have owned exa's. Now have a 93' NXR. I replaced all shocks, bought a set of lovells lowered springs and tried to get them compressed - very hard to do these days.. So i proceded to do the next best thing... One wknd with too much spare time - proced to remove 2 coils all round. BUT still have the stock items + pedders still in d box.. Anways heres how mine turned out...

Sits at a very nice height, does not scrub on anything + handles incredibly well. Almost 0 bodyroll. Providing NXR's come out with a rear torsion-bar it ended up being a nice and in-expensive set up!
Dont know any of u newcastle nx owners- c me round say gday.
peace

by d way - rims are 17 x 8's - tyres are falken 205/40.
Also having the front lowered this much with the weight of the motor - the fronts have cambered in alot! BUT this lets u enter/exit corner much faster.. minimal body roll does not slide coz the weight and momentum off "the egg" pushes the weight across the outside of the wheelbase.
yada yada yada - handles much much better. Very stiff and bouncy everyday driving tho - but fun ;)
