Detonation Sensor

Hey my ecu gave me error code #34. Is this my detonation sensor? Is this hard to replace and how much will it be. Also what happens if I just leave it?

hey dude, yeah 34 is detonation sensor, i had 33 which is coil packs i think.... im pretty sure from what ive been told that it's not hard to re=place and shouldnt cost to mcuh.. wouldnt think near $100, dunno for sure though, ask boost or trixx theyre really good with this sorta thing

if you just leave it your car will prolly continue to run like shit(if it does already) fix it though

Your only chance of getting a detonation sensor cheap is second hand. Nissan want $400 for the det sensor because it's not produced anymore.

Wreckers only want a few bucks.. actually around 50>100.

OK so is this temp fix safe? I mean will it root my car up? Or should i just dish out and fix it. also where can i get this resistor and what do i ask for from the shop. Also is it installed on the wire coming from the sensor?
