well yea its been bloody hot lately and everyones agreed to a cruise for a swim etc.. so this ones it...
ill ber throwing another bbq for everyone that comes.. (sausages. steak, salad, bread rolls, drinks etc BYO alco if u want)

I just got my self a 87 Exa and was keen to go on a cruise with other exa drivers, if you are headed up to the dams you will need to drive past my suburb, thats why i'm not keen to drive to mt Gravatt and then back. There ar two big BP srevos on the Bruce HWY just befor Cabooulture let me know what time you will be past that way and I will be there any way people may need to refuel. as you may of noticed.. there is no red magna on our cruises .. lol
sers him right, he was told by alot of us, to stay at the back...
he never listend ....
so all i / we ask is try to stay at teh back, or the front, if u want to lead ! - i know sometimes, u cant help but be somewhere between the front and the back, but just slip back to the end when u can

swim, eat, check out other peoples cars, and drive home.

Well, normaly when we get to the distination, we swap partners and have wild sex, so make sure you have a girl with you.. If you end up with a bloke, then make sure your the first to go through him, you don't want to go slops on a bloke, it's f#$ken messy down there..

Other times, we talk, eat, fart, laugh and what ever goes, swap stories (enhanced of corse), take pictures of each other cars, drowl over the turbo cars, kick each others tyres, sit inside everyones cars and fart on the passenger seats.

What ever comes along, we are all a cool bunch.

Found this on the pulsar group of aus web fourm thought some of our boys might be keen....


"Lee Haskings from the AU Starlet Club and myself have organised a cruise for both clubs on Saturday January 25. This will be the first organised cruise for the Starlet Club, so they intend on making it a big one. Lee says that apparently this cruise is going to be covered in Hot 4's and other magazines, so if you intend on going give your car a polish and you might get it in print!

The destination for the cruise is the Saturday night usual, BWCP. As there are several people attending from out of town I've drawn up some instructions, but it's all pretty easy to follow. Start at Aspley, cruise to Mt Coot-tha. Then down the M1 to Yatala, and on to Burleigh Maccas for tea, then to BWCP. Pretty simple really. Times are yet to be confirmed, but I expect around 5.15pm leave from Aspley, 6.15pm leave from Coot-tha..

�› Depart Aspley McDonalds via rear entrance, turn left onto Gayford St
�› Go straight ahead at the traffic lights and turn left in to Creek Rd to head south towards the City
�› Turn right at the Creek Rd traffic lights onto Gympie Rd towards city
�› Do not worry about loosing people at traffic lights, it�fs unavoidable
�› Ensure you are in the far left lane after we pass the Freedom Furniture store on the right hand side
�› Turn left to enter the Inner City Bypass (ICB)
�› Turn right under the bridge for the Inner City Bypass onramp
�› Take the Milton Rd exit off the Inner City Bypass opposite Suncorp Stadium
�› Turn right onto Milton Rd at traffic lights and follow it west to Mt Coot-tha
�› As we approach the roundabout near a Caltex service station at the end of Milton Rd be in the far right lane
�› Go straight ahead at the roundabout and merge into the right lane at the base of the flyover as soon as possible
�› Turn right at the roundabout on to Mt Coot-tha Rd
�› Mt Coot-tha Rd becomes Sir Samuel Griffith Dr, follow it to the top of the mountain and pull into a car park near the Restaurant at the top


Re-Group in Mt Coot-tha car park


�› Depart Mt Coot-tha, head down Sir Samuel Griffith Dr back to Mt Coot-tha rive and get on Milton Rd




�› Be in the right lane when you go around the roundabout near Caltex as you will be turning right into Sylvan Rd
�› Turn left at the second set of traffic lights into Land St
�› Land St becomes Coronation Dr and then becomes the M1 expressway to the Gold Coast
�› Take exit 38 off the M1 expressway, turn left into the Yatala BP Service Centre car park


Re-Group at Yatala BP


�› Depart Yatala BP, go straight ahead at the roundabout to the M1
�› Take exit 66 off the M1 onto the Smith St Motorway
�› Go straight ahead at all traffic lights and Smith St will end at a T intersection with the Gold Coast Highway, turn right
�› Go straight ahead at all traffic lights again until you reach Fifth Ave in Burleigh Heads
�› Turn left into Fifth Ave, pull into the Burleigh Maccas car park


Re-Group at Burleigh Maccas


�› Depart Burleigh Maccas, turn right back onto the Gold Coast Highway and head north to Broadwater car park

I was already grinning after the hill climb to top of Mt gravatt :heehee: . A new ignition coil does wonders for acceleration.
It was good to meet up with you guys, now I can put faces to some of you.

I had to peel off at D'Aguilar to head home (2 parties today) but the drive through city and along Daguilar Highway were great. Only low point was the heavilly packed highway around Caboolture.

Anyways heres a really small pic I put together of some of the ones I took. ( damn small upload limits :hitwall: )

g'day guys, i had a good day overall today, cheers to everyone for such a good turnout! biggest down side of the day for me was busting my sub (but that'll be fixed on thursday) and the biggest upside was having my licence for less then a month and clocking a speed of 201kph on the way home! official 200 club member! thats bout it for now, i'll coment more after ben's write up, cya guys,

I took this on the last cruise I went on in my brothers' car. and yes every car in that lane is a skyline ... more were behind us. That was a fun day hehe my brother drives reeeeeeealy well through corners.
