Just wondering if anyone has test fitted a NX2000 or Sentra SE-R radiator in the N13 chassis? I want to get a performance radiator, and they offer some nice radiators for those cars, and our enginebay is almost identical to the NX2000
Anyone have any comments?

it was custom made from a place called Race Radiators, a pretty small place but damn they turn out some impressive product. What I did was give them my standard radiator and they made it from that.

where did your temp gauge sit on with that radiator?
I just had my overheating problem fixed, a new two core copper radiator and a new thermostat and all is fixed.
My gauge is sitting on about 1/8th, almost cold. Seems maybe a bit too cold if there is such a thing???

Cheers man
strangely enough it runs as per normal, not much lower and doesn't take ages to get up to temp, but I guess the thermostat plays that part :D

Hey,
nice radiator.... It should run at teh same temp as any colder wouod have the engine running ric to compensate. As rhys said, the thermostat is there to keep it all at the right temperature. A good radiator like that should let you sit in traffic on a hot day longer before it starts to over heat...

How many of you have upgraded the radiator in your pulsar???
C'mon, I know some of you have, what did you buy, and how much was it?

I replaced mine with a two row all copper radiator.
Cost $330.
It is a big improvement, my old one was stuffed though.
I sorted out why my car was sitting on cold, the radiator joint fitted a 160 degree F thermostat, I got them to replace it with a 180 degree F as per the workshop manual and it now sits on 1/4.
;)
