Hey guys me again!
EXA has a funny problem now, either it's running too rich or it's running short of fuel. Only on near half tank or less.
What happens is that when i arc her up and pass 3000 or so revs, she'll sutter.
Could it be:
Dirty fuel filter?
water in the tank, alot if it starts at half tank
Not enough air? (standard air box, in stadard position with paper element, feeding to a t25)

souds like your ecu wires are playing up
luckily its a quick fix .. you just have to jiggle the wires under the passenger seat a bit.

Hey,
possibly a fuel issue... - Wack a new fuel filter on and possibly put a bottle of injector cleaner in your system - cant hurt anyway. But yeah, do your usual stuff like checking the ecu wires and all that. Dont forget to do a diagnostics aswell...

hey dude, ive been looking at quite a few cars lately, from s4/5 rotors to mx5's :heehee:
i was close to buying the yellow JMS mr2 that was on the cover of one of the High performance imports magazines as well but found out that you cant comply it :(
as for teh cefiro i took a look at it but it turned out to be a dud, had rust on the back of the roof and some dodgy retrim so i passed on that one, the next one that came in was setup for drift but my friend got to it before i did heheh.
ive settled on a early model mx5 though unless somethign else can catch my mind.
nah i couldnt go to the drift comp even though it was close to my house cos it was my sisters 19th... it was raining pretty hard so it might have been washed out.
hows all yoru cars going dude.

yeah i think i saw that drift cefiro that came to australia. mx5? that's a roadster, pretty boy's car, no offence if you are a pretty boy! mr2 would have been awesome! a few of my mates drive gt4s, and they go hard! drifting an mr2 would be sick! gen II 7s are good also, cheap and relativley powerful. i got 167kws at the wheels, on standard boost! Haven't yet mastered the drift but with a near 50/50 balance how could you go wrong.
other ideas you might have a play with are the chaser, soarer, old gsr lancers, but if i had the money (limited) i'd go an mr2, sexy, powerful, drifto! even an aussie spec would do me fine! oh some places will import an s4 7 for you, cost about 8-10k, through the 15 year old rule.
i'm planning on an update on cars, mitsubishi RVR hyper sports gear! comming soon !!!:eyelids: :eyelids:

i have driven both the mr2 and the mx5 and i gotta say i like the mx5 better.
it has 50/50 handling unlike the mid engined mr2.
early mr2 engines arent very powerful and they have to lug around a pretty heavy shell whereas the import mx5 im after has 95kws and only has to lug around 1 tonne. the mx5 is also good on petrol and when you drive 50k's just to get to school and then another 50 to get back petrol really digs deep into the pocket hehe..
also ive seen a lot of mr2's around lately and they are getting a bit common, especially modded versions. all the mx5's ive seen are stock, somethign mine will be cured of within the first month.
lastly i live near mallala racetrack and across the rd from the adelaide international raceway and there are mx5 clubs in adelaide who regularly do club events, thats something id like to try out.

90% of the mx5's that go to eastern creek are rotor turbo's these days, seems to be a common conversion, someone makes the kit for it, cant remember who.
(i hope im not confusing the mx5 and mx6, the mx5 is the small one that comes as a convertable right!)
