Yeah she's in GREAT condition... you wouldn't know it's an '89 by lookin' at it. The pulsar is in great condition compared to my other car - '91 Firebird. It's in the 3rd pic down... but that pic doesn't do it justice. The paints all fading and stuff. The car's more than 3x faster than the pulsar though... Someday the Pulsar will be fast too!!! :heehee:

I had the t-tops off this past weekend. It was like 80 degrees outside so they came off fast!! I didn't have the hatch off yet - I'd be too paranoid about stuff flyin' out :P
My friend used to brag about how he was able to take his hatch off and drive and I couldn't (On the firebird).
I was shocked... for as small of a car as the Pulsar is, the t-tops are almost the same size as the one's on the Firebird! They're like an inch smaller. I used to the t-top bag for the firebird (since I can't use it anymore because I have subs installed back there) and they filled it almost all up. I expected them to be much smaller.
Oh... and thanx for the comments on my car!! :)
I just got in Thur night (05.08.03) and it's been raining almost non-stop so I haven't gotten much of a chance. :(

Wow that looks good. Compared to all the XE Pulsars ...actually, all Pulsars in general down here, they are all run-down looking. Hope you have a blast with the new wheels..........and you didn't even have to forfeit the t-tops

Yeah it's been repainted... not too bad. It's got a few chips here and there tho cuz it wasn't the most expensive job...

which pic you mean?? Do ya mean this one??

If so... ya mean the red car? If so, that's my '91 Firebird Formula... that car has a helluva lotta work done to it, and it's got about 300hp. If that's what you're talking about and you want to see it, it's http://www.cardomain.com/id/350birdgrl930

Or do you mean the green car? If so... that's my neighbors Dodge Duster Turbo.

It originally had a 5.0 litre v8 in it, and got swapped for a 5.7 litre v8. The engine's also been built up a little. It's got a jacobs ignition system which gives it more torque, hp and fuel economy. Flowmaster exaust, no cat. Gas-slotted disk breaks. Vortech heads. Sport transmission, flywheel, clutch. Upgraded crankshaft. American Racing Wheels. It also have t-tops. It has a system - Kenwood KDC-MP8017 MP3 hu, polk 4x6's, kenwood eXcelon 6x9's, monster cabling, 2 12" Eclipse Subwoofers, Eclipse 4-channel amp. And I think that's about it!

The firebird was my first car, and two of my friends had a pulsar and my other FWD car's transmission went. So I sold it to get a pulsar. Pulsar's fun to drive and I love it! It's hard to chose which one I want to drive now... hehe. The firebird's fully loaded and has more than 3x the power that the pulsar does though... but the pulsar does SO much better on gas... I'm sure you can imagine, having over 4 less liters! :P

this is the US version of the exa, sold as the Pulsar NX SE, and Pulsar NX XE...the XE was the base model and the SE was a higher model...we didnt get the XE here..

Yeah you're lucky you didn't have the XE! :P It's slow as poop!! But, EXA's are hard to come buy around here, and this one was in great condition. Plus, it's at least the '89 model so it had 90hp instead of the 69hp that the previous two years had. My car's makin' a noise now though - sort of like a pinging. It sorta sounds like somethin' is getting hit by the belts - fortunatly, it doesn't sound like its comin' from inside the block itself. With 177k, what can I expect?!

We've come to the conclusion my altenator is starting to die :( Decently cheap repair though - plus I have an extra paycheck this month anyways....

And with the system I'm lookin' into building, I was gonna need a new alt anyways :D
