After a few computer resets I still get error #34 (Det5ination Sensor) showing up, but only after the engine is reved hard (near 7k) If I keep it under 5k the error wont show up, is it possible the sensor is ok but the wiring is bad, or hard to tell without removing the sensor ?.

And if I want to bypass the sensor and fit a resistor across the wire to trick the ECU into thinking the sensor is always with-in tollerance, what value resistor and what wattage do I use ?

the detonation sensor will pick up when there is fuel egniting due to heat(not being sparked)

It will retard the timing so that this does not happen, but if the engine is not tuned correctly then it will never get it right
