Hi dudes, are all T25s physically the same? as in size of the inlet and outlet?

Hey,
they are all roughly the same, however, there are many different types of t25's. Compressor inlet/outlet have diffrent flanges, different size wheels., different size housings, different cores, etc.

oh err, which one bolts up to the stock dump pipe?
And if i were to get an exhaust made up,
should i get it made first then get the turbo. or get the turbo first then the exhaust? and also dump pipe for that matter.

lol, there are two main condendors for the e15 upgrade.
the t25 has .48 compressor, .49 exhaust
the t25g has .48 compressor, .62 exhaust
the extra flow of the t25g is minimal, but i guess still there.
when buying the t25 just take along the measurement between the bolts on your exhaust manafold and check they match.
chris2 - you asked b4 if the 6cyl t28 fitted, i have been told on many occasion that skyline turbo's and 300zx turbo's wont fit, however i have seen a skyline turbo bolt stright up to a ca18 180sx, so im not really sure about that

mr nisman, now we are getting interesting, cause guess what, I got a T28 off twin turbo vg30dett and BOLTS on. ratios are .48/.53
i have had it on teh car for 2 years
also just aquired t25g .64/.80 off 200sx(this is a monster!)that has bolted onto rra's ET and it even lined up on 75%of studs etc!on the dump pipe
ps i am still to see one of these big flange 2 series maybe you could post a picture for clarity....

i know that a t28 from an s14 will fit i didnt say it wouldnt.
is there any reason persisting in being a cock head? i didnt make any smart ass coment.
if you are in nsw go to a guy called dick morris at jc diesel tune in nerellan western sydney, he had one there.
i have no idea what it was off because it was brand new from garrett, but it had a weird elongated inlet on the compressor housing.
and i can guarantee he knows his shit, he is a good friend of the owner of ats.

The t28 from the VG are a large T2 from memory, as in it is between a T2 and T25 in size, so would make minimal difference to an E15 engine.
Best bet for mild upgrades is any T25, preferably a T25G if you are going aftermarket management.
T28 is the go if you are thinking of crazy HP, ball bearing if you can afford the price hike!!;)
