ECU upgrade?

Hi guy,

I was wondering, what is the right price for the Microtech MT8?
I got quote for $1500 install and tune. what do you thing?

and how much performance gain should I expected out of this package?

sorry to hijack your post for a second but i thought i saw your topic about ecu's and just needed to ask you guys if i need a new one... i posted this before but it got deleted by the server....grrr, so yeh my car is not performing at all well, there is no boost at all at this point, i checked and reclamped all the hoses and piping and there is no problem there, but it still has no boost... i fiddled with the plugs a bit but still nothing, its happened before but i messed with the plugs a bit and the boost came back on...... is that a sign of the need for a new ECU or just new plugs, and if so, how much for a new one..... im really hoping there is a cheaper option than the microtech ones because i aint forkin out $1000+ when i know something else will possibly go wrong with something else in the future.....

mt8 with 4 line h/set cost me 1095?!!!

i installed it myself, put ecu in glovebox and removed all old loom.

i suggest getting a new O2 sensor for tuning purposes...

I have a leaded computer for sale (standard item) you can have it for $70 if your interested. Allways handy to have a spare one laying around - and at that price its a bargain.
