Yeah NX EXA i can do anything ya want. Normally all my customers just say "Heres a photo of my car, do what ever ya can to it - just make it look Phat!" - so i just draw it how i'd think would work. Buff wheels, pumped guards, sexy skin colour ect ect. Heres just a short list of previous requests to give you an idea

I just got 10 , A3 Gp EXA prints back from the printery, and man, im so proud of these babys..i wish i had a exa of my own! I guess i'll just have to settle for my humble n14 pulsar ..hehe

I hear the Gp is the "most wanted" in Exa-land so i've decided to give these Gp Prints away for $38.50 as my introduction into the exa forums.

I already have sold a few so first in best dressed. Just email me.

I really hate to say it guys, like the pics are fantastic but i was quoted 60 bucks for one of my car, and dont you think thats a little expencive for a drawing of a car! Espachally when there are plenty of other people out there that can draw shit like that and not charge an arm and leg for it.

so sorry everyone, i havnt been able to do anything this week and last, alot of stuff has been happening around here..just havnt been really in the mood or frame of mind to be drawing much ( my girl is moving to japan to study :(....i kinda was in a depressed state as you could imagine ..we've kinda been engaged for 2 years so it kinda hit me hard)

BUt the good news is im back and drawing again...so for those who havnt heard from me, many apologies, i hope you understand. PLease email me those who are still wanting there cars done, sorry for the inconvienience.

Miss Exa:If you think that is too steap...then i am sorry. Maybe you should try talking to ME about it first? Im sure we can work out a deal.

It is not a obligation to purchase anything off benboydesign, I know for a fact that my prices are by far more reasonable than anywhere else for the quality of work and materials used. My Graphic design friends charge 90 per hour to design a custom artwork, and they think im a complete idiot for the prices i quote. What it comes down to is the amount of time and effort that i HAVE to spend on each and every piece of artwork, and if you think that you can get someone to work of a cartoon car for 10 hours for a considerably less amount ( and have the skills and experience to sucessfully complete it and have a professional finish )than i erge you to get that person and never let go.

I think its funny how i see in art stores a painting of a red line on brown coloured paper and the price tag says 300 dollars unframed, and people think that a artistic picture of their very own car is less significant and should be cheaper. It puzzles me


Oh, And if your not happy with the price or quality of my work, i think it would be a good idea to maybe talk to me first...no offence.

I charged MRX42U about 25 because he wanted a smaller image to stick to his dash to display it, i dont supply any smaller than a4 so he will have to cut the picture out and laminate it himself, the image will be quite small on the a4 so the 25 dollars is reasonable for his application.

GPexa: Sorry dude, i'll get that made up for you mate, i didnt know your screen size before :)

NX EXA: Yap, im doing your wheel right now, they are a bit tricky with the resolution in the picture ya supplied me, but im sure i'll work it out.

Hey all -sorry for the long time between postings...just getting life issues sorted out ;) and plus i was organise'n a cruise for da pulsar boys and yeah...its all happening.

Due to so many orders and so many variations of exas i now have enough artwork to complete custom cars without the hassel of redrawing so much of the car ....so im lowering my full custom price to $50 from the "usual" price of $80 (37.5% cheaper! hehe )

For the $50 you get the 'premium package'.
You get your Exa totally custom edited and coloured with your choice of your number plates, wheels,car colour-- basicly ANYTHING you want professionally printed on A3 full colour.

For all you guys and gals i have previously quoted and have not got custom prints from me...your price is now 50 dollars too :).

Splice: Is your car still the same as when featured in hot 4s? If so what issue was it? I think i have it here somewhere, it will save you sending pictures online. if not send pictures to my email. ( ben@benboydesign.com )

Exabaybee: I got your email :) Just email me what prints you wanted and i will send you the final copies for you to check if they are right and i will send you my account details and i'll have them posted as soon as mr postman can deliver ;)

yeah man im pretty sure i can get it onto a shirt for you...i checked out getting shirts made up months back and it seemed do-able...i'll have to drop in on the shirt place on monday :)

I was talking to my printers and they have lifted their price...Eeek!:nasty: ( stupid download charge )...so i have to go back to the $80 dollar mark for 'FULL CUSTOMS' on A3( still includes free laminating thou ;) )

So basicly if you want any Full Custom artworks done for your Exa i am offering the $50 deal until July 4 2003. After that date full customs are back to $80 -- custom wheels,bodykits ect.
( sorry guys...i was going backwards dollar wise :( )

Oh and the 50 dollar deal is only for exas...as drawing completely different cars is like starting from scratch and takes ages.

As normal, my life has been complicated yet again. I have just started a Graphic Design course ( trying to cram some more knowledge into my poor lil head :) ) which i attend full time so that has made my life that little bit more confusing and busy. With these studies happening i have been very strapped for time in front of my computer, basicly it takes a little bit longer to complete jobs, thats all. Just letting you all know so if i dont reply back to anyone straight away..you know why, im probably at College stressin over some exam :nasty: :nasty:

Heres a recent on Roys EXa with SSS n15 wheels- and monster takka peering through the window. :)



German: What media do i use?? hmmm, what do you mean by that?
I use Adobe Photoshop for all creation and editing after i have first penciled, Inked and Scanned the image. I use 2b & hb Pencils ( higher grade..no cheap crap ) Artline .04 , .06 and .02 technical Ink Pens. I draw onto 160 gsm High res paper ( to prevent bleeding ) and scan at 300dpi and 150% enlargement.

All effects are made in photoshop using NO filters, as i think they are cheating:p
