Hey all

I thought I'd run this by you all first. Now that I have my degree (journalism) I've been thinking of offering my services around the place (not just the Internet, I mean my area etc) by writing press releases and advertorials (ads that read like news articles) for businesses.

Is it against the rules for me to advertise this service here? If so, fair enough but it is a professional service and worth the money for my working time.

Cheers,

Adrian

Uh, I was actually intending for ADMIN to read this and reply/comment? If it's not too much trouble of course?

I wish you all the best with it, but unless it's totally relevant, I'd probably prefer not... This is a car club, not a marketing testbed... I mean, maybe if it's car related, but even then, it'd be spruking for businesses who aren't sponsors...

I'm a bit skeptical to say yes at the moment...

This is a fair comment. I'm not intending to turn the place into a "marketing testbed" as you put it - but I don't doubt that there are indeed members here who run businesses of their own. They may be considering advertising in local press, but don't know quite where to start.

That is my intended market - and I'm hardly asking for a massive banner over half your main page - a one-or-two liner in my sig (not even graphical, like some of the ridiculously-sized sigs members have here) stating what I'm about.

But in the end, it's your barbecue - it's up to you to decide who eats.

Regards

Adrian

If it's just in your sig, that's perfectly fine :)

Cool, appreciate it :)

That is all.
