Yeah same. On th floor I hate that tyre on road noise. I think a dude from rollaboyz said you can get it from Marlows.

I'm looking at getting it to lower/stop the rattle in the car when I crank the music and to improve the sound. :D

My cuz got some stuff from Marlows, doesn’t look too flash, I looks like carpet underlay. He is using it under the hood to lower engine noise. That should do what you want oliverfehr if you are wanting to cut road noise. ;)

all right...
first things first..."dyno mat" is pretty good but very pricey...cheap alternative would be to remove all your panels and coat the whole car with rocker guard(rubberized)...that will help and is cheap...like 5 bux a can.
second would be to find a company that supplies automobile companies with the vynil underlay they use inside factory cars.
i have a friend that gets me what ever i need from a place like that.
stuff works awesome and it comes in different sizes(thichness) but the only problem is that you have to apply the adhesive yourself.
dyno mat comes with an adhesive on it and then you use a heat gun to mould it to what you want.
check out a stereo mag for a company like dyno mat or ??? and check out your prices.

akil...
as for trunk rattles and crap...
you better look in to expansion foam, silicon, glue or anything that will keep the rattles down, sound deadener is not much use when dealing with higher spl!

there are alternate brands but the price isnt all that much different...if anything just buy enough to do your doors and then take out you carpet and crap and then rubberize that stuff...that would be the cheapest way without spending a wack load on dyno mat.

forgot...
to give you an idea...i did my car(3rd) with dyno mat on the doors and rubberized the rest plus spray foamed the crap out of it along with some screws and glue and silicon-hehe
and it made a huge difference...i was hitting almost 160 dbs with my two 18"s and there was not one rattle in my P.O.S.-hehe
when i pulled up to the meter and hit a number like that with out one rattle people were like...
:-O !!!
even with all the doors and windows closed there were no rattles-hehe.
so if you can, i highly recommend it as trunk rattles piss me off especially when i have to hear them from another car-hehe

Suggestions for name brands: Cascade and Brown Bread. Dynomat is more for those that want their sound deadener to look all special too, but you pay out the ass for that...

You can as suggested earlier use rubberized sprays (stinky) or certain roofing materials (stinky too), but the cost savings doesn't always pay off so be careful what you buy.

i've got the rubber stuff for the boot and the number plate. it's hard to get the rubber stuff inside the door.. so if you wanna do the doors properly it may pay to have a spray on like Rockford Noise Kill or something similar.

for the mirrors...spray some white lithuim grease in behind the mirror itself...this wont harm it and it will lube some of the crap in there...so if it does rattle you should see it move just not hear it...another one to try is "fluid film" stuff is the shiznit but it is like 10 bux plus a can!
