hey i found a e15 carb cover today, the one taht is more flatter.. anyway there were a few holes in it, look like vacuum hose attachments. also the oil plug didnt look like it screwed it!! kidna weid, anyone using this, think im gonan do this next considering it can be polished and 2.5-3 inch mandrel pipines going over the original cover is a very tight squeeze indeed.

Hey,
yeha I had this on my old motor.... About the ntage I found with it was that ouy could fit cooler pipes over it easier than you could with the original cover. The oil filler cap is a pain in the ass, it doesnt have as much gauze in it (which can cause lotsa things), its pretty ugly, doesnt have "TURBO" on it and eve nthough it seems like it will pollish up real nice - it really doesnt come up that good and is really, really hard to keep looking decent. thats why I went back to the "JUN" version of the standad cover on my new motor... But by all measn, give it a go and let us know how you go. you will need the shorter studs for the NA motor to mount it also..

just watch it because there are 2 different types of rocker covers for the carb E15. the 2 main bolt holes in the middle are in a different spot! they are out by about 10mm on one type of it. there shouldnt be any more hose attatchments than the turbo motor, and the oil coverkind of just plugs in. if you think its hard getting it out, wait until you have to put it back in!! i had to use a hammer or a brick or stand on it to get the prick back in. stupid stupid idea nissan!!!
