More proof seatbelts save lives...

A mate of mine driving a VT wagon... not sure how it happened, not wanting to ask a day after it happened... Basically launched 10-20m into the air & came down hard. As there was no main frontal or side damage, no airbags (4 in this model) went off, and his seatbelt alone saved his life (and I think a passenger or two also by the way he was talking). Just imagine the scene without his seatbelt eh.... could have been very nasty.

that's pretty nasty man! i don't think airbags would have helped anyway.. that's why the sensors are in the front.

Nah they probably wouldn't have... as he put it 'nobody was hurt', he/they walked out of it. Thankfully,

Personally I think airbags are shyt, I don't like them. I have my fuse pulled from my NX. I'm glad to hear that they are all ok.
