hey i think that there r a few threads on the forum that arent getting used any more and i think that they should be deleted. jus to keep it tidy

I think that after a while, they get stuffed into the archives.
Rather than deleting them, they could hold some valuable information for people in a bind. for instance, i found my "freeing hydraulic lifters" guide in an archive of a pulsar site from like 2002. they are very handy to ahve around.

yeh don't worry about deleting them cause there is alot of valuable information and pictures in there..

A forum is pointless if you delete its history.

Totally agree with that statement.
It would be silly to delte them.
But it would also be near impossible to sort them all our to delete the crap.

um, maybe try archiving them more frequently? instead of every 5 years or something.:thumbup:

cool. I think that with vbulletin powered forums, you can set a setting to automatically archive them after a certain amount of time. that would be a start, just a suggestion though, I have'nt busted around vbulletin forums for a while.

I think that's abit rich coming from someone that's been here a whopping 6 months!

If you don't wanna see them, change your preferences so you only get threads that have been touched in the last week....

behold the power of vBulletin... this is why we use it... it's got an answer for almost anything you'd need in a forum...

When bored, old threads are great to rummage through. Have got lots of useful info from them that have saved me a motza..!
