if you want you could run the t-164 turbos right from "fast 'n the furious 2" -hehe
i think they come with platinum ball bearings and ceramic coated snails-hahaha
just kidding...
check out some of the other threads or check out raffi's conversion on "pulsarnx.ca"
...but i would honestly say...if you have enough money, you could put whatever you want on for a turbo...with a turbo timer, adjustable fuel reg., etc, ...it could cost you alot of money, but the end result would be...
happiness and satisfaction.

but were you talking "real" dollars???
sorry, just had to ask...

If you have a CA18DET or SR20DET you can use Garrett turbo's from just about all the Nissan line up. Some will require minimal modifications due to intercooler piping and the like. The only one you couldn't use is the T28 from the GTR Skyline as they are designed to be used as twin not single.

Also Garrett aftermarket turbo chargers can be straight bolt on's, again depending on motor, more exists for the SR20 then CA18.

CT26 off Toyota based cars are excellent turbo's for a cheap price

if you pick one of these up for say.. $350 and spend another $300-400 on high flowing (enlargening the compressor housing, larger wheels (i think T04 wheels fit in there) you have a turbo capable of supporting up to 400hp of flow which is excellent for the price...

I think Zoom or HPI ran an article on the CT26A turbo upgrades..
just don't get the twin entry version off a MR2.. the MA70 supra with 7M-GTE engine used a better version of the turbo

just stay away from the CT12A's ;)
