What did YOU do for new years

hey guys, i just woke up from out of my lil sisters bedroom after last nights celebrations. :moonsmili one of my friends was trying to sleep in a carrot field across the road hehehe and another slept in the kitchen i believe..

hope you all had a great new years even if the weather did SUCK here big time.

/ohh btw i had a bout of food poisoning a few days ago due to a over nuked chicken nugget, im sure in the course of last nights activities it came up in little moudly pieces :cheers:

well i did multiple things....
i went into the city to meet up with some peeps and spend the night in there.. then i was in there for about 2hrs and this dude came in that i dislike very much and he dislikes me.. so i left before we got into a fight... then i went home.. i was gonna goto a bbq thingy at another mates place but couldnt get there.. so i went to another party that i was invited at.. and i got sooooo drunk it wasnt funny... but worth it.. and the great new is.. i never spewed.. (which i still dont know why i didnt) :P
and got home early this morning and had bout 3hrs sleep....

then all of us went to the city for a drive by ( hee hee) then went up Mt Cootha... watched the fire-works up there....

(mt cootha is a Mountain the over looks the city, about 10 mins from the city )

i went to a friends place for a BBQ and a few drinks.. sat down.. bullshitted for a while.. left. went to another friends place for a traditional get to gether with 2 of my mates from school. drank a botle of rum. and went to bed at about 0200..

Hey,
waited to see if anyone was gonna come here or not and then decided to go into town to a place with 'chris2' , it was a bit of an older night club, so I spent most of the night getting pretty hammered perving on 24+ year olds.... lol. saw the taxi line and quickly calculated that it was going to be a 4 maybe 5 hour wait (this was allready 3:30!!!) so we started walking. Got a taxi about an hour into the trip who was a great guy and didnt even charge teh $5.50 NYE surcharge! Got home about 4:45...

Well we did the traditional parent thing----

We stayed home put sammi to bed at 10pm, had a drink, watched video hits NYE celebration, taped the fireworks for sammi,

We decided to go outside and see if we could see any fireworks and we found this dog that had jumped a fence, so we brought it inside called its owners (12:30pm), and then went to bed.

The owners came and got the dog at 3am.

so all in all a nice quiet evening at home with the family

Mine was pretty shit this year....

I basically did the same as last year, except this year wasnt in the mood...

Went to my friends house in Potts Point, watched the fireworks from their unit.. (had a perfect view of the city skyline, bridge opera house etc) Fireworks werent as good as last year...

After this went to Soho bar with a fewe friends, listned to their shit retro dance music, (couldent be fucked dancing) just drank the night away, was in bed by 3am (alone)...

Unfortunally I was working all night....I did however still manage to............
a) drink
b) get paid quite well
c) run out of smokes
d) have no phone coverage at exactly midnight
e) miss the fireworks
f) catch up with a friend......!!!

So really it was no different to any other year!(most of it any way!!)

then went to a bbq then the beach

Worked til around 9:30pm, then went and met my girl at a party
at a friends place. By the time I got there, she was talking short hand and I had a lot of catching up to do.....

There was a big bowl of punch (mostly alcamahol), drank a whole shit load of that in between beers, got vershnickered in record time, wanted to go out, but everyone was too pissed and no one wanted to join me.......

Went home for some new years lurvin.......

But,

fell asleep as soon as I sat on the couch.

Mine was rather boring. I went to a friend's house, sat there and bullshytted a while with everyone there. Watched the ball drop in New York......waited another hour for the New Year. 12:00 comes, I play the song on my cell phone, had a celebration drink (first alcohol drink I've had since Sept '01) and then we watched Final Destination--------lets just say I won't be watching the sequel. Left about 2 and went home to bed.

i had a ridiculous new year which ill always be ashamed of hehehe the combination of a family holiday in new zealand 3000 odd kms from home didnt sound great from the start, but then i found out that Christchurch had wat the locals called a "Huge party" in cathedral square so i thought hrrmmm that could be good so i cruised down (on my own) hahaha and jump into the "mosh pit" which was fucked thats were the party went all wrong noone was doin anything so i felt like a tool standing there scratchin ma ass, the party livened up about 11:58 wen the countdown started and it steadily built up till 12:00 with 10 steamers and a big group hug hrmmm these guys know how to party!!!
anywayz it got better, my hotel was in the middle of the square and we were told "u wont be gettin any sleep till about 5am"...... right??...... WRONG!!!!, by 12:30 the band had packed up and the square was empty!!!! so i was asleep by 1am, the center of the city in Christchurch is an alcohol free zone, and the latest song the bands played was "song 2 by BLUR" if ur familiar with 1996 bad excuse for punk rock music
so as u can see new years in christchurch ROCKS!!!!!!!

i guess i am the only loser who decided to pull out a motor out of his pulsie at midnight on new years eve!
started about 8 pm, before i new it, it was 12:15, just dropped the motor out the bottom looked at the clock and said happy new year to myself, then continued on plugging away.
put the motor on the stand yesterday to findout what went wrong but then i snapped a tool and had to stop...so ya, this year is off to a flying start.
well, i am glad everybody had fun-thats the point-weather it's alot of fun or not much-hehe

Well, I did the same thing as last year, except this time with half a carton or Corona under my belt, which i drank in about 2 hours. Me and a mate headed down to a local beachside park where there were mass people, but the problem was that all the ladies were either with their boyfriends, or my little sister's age. so, yeah, got nothing. In the end we ended up knocking bins over to pass the time.

Very proud because I didn't spew(like usual)
Didn't pass out(like usual)
Didn't have a hangover(like usual)
And was in better condition that most other people who brought the cheapest 5 can pre-mix they could find.

well yeah im such a party animal so heres what i did...

went to a mates house with warren and had a bbq and watched some guy play some tunes on the decks...

then went to this other party and found myself in the same situation as boost... that is a girl i dont like walked in and i had to get myself out of there quick smart before i kicked her ass (hahahah):mafia:

then went for a drive up in the hills to watch the town fireworks, and at 5mins to 12 the fog rolled in and the rain started pissing down and we saw sweet fuck all!!!!

Was home in bed by about 12.30 or 1.00...

but i had a MASIVE crimbo night so i kinda count that as my new years aswell.

well i was at dallas, usa and i launched my own fireworks... then i decided to hit my brother with em.. very funy seeing a kid at 15 run for his life!!!!

Hmm we went into Sydney for the evening... had a few drinks on the way in and ended up having a bit of fun throughout the night at Milsons Point. Fireworks were a major disappointment though, no where near as good as i remember last year.

Maybe it was the fact that everywhere i looked there were drunken 15 year olds stumbling around hanging out of their clothes. Oh well, good times all around, we ended up getting home around 4.30am and got to bed somewhere around 6.

Lol, sounds like u all had fun, My night was good, A m8 of mine who got his P's just before christmas voluntered to be designated dave. So we went to a perty, iy had 10 ppl plus the 3 that came with us, so 3 trips later we took that party to another party, wich had about 200 ppl jammned into a tiny backyard that could fit maybe 3 cars tops, they flowed out on the street, that was crap so we went to my friends house picked her and 2 friends up, taught the girls what a burnout was and went to my other friends just in time to hang the tail out round a corner while they were all counting 10.9.8.... so we jumped out woohooo happy new year, stayed ther till about 4 ish and went back to my friends house did shots and proceed to have sex on his parents bed, lets just say... he wasnt impressed. All in all a great night.

yep it was a very FAST paced night for me. It went quite QUICKLY.
All up it was great and I got about 6 new phone numbers on my phone that I gotta call but I CBF.
