EOI: New aftermarket N13 pop-out door vents.

Hey guys,

Just wondering how many of you need or would like new pop-out door vents? They can be made to any colour even clear.

If i go ahead with this i can even do custom things for you like tweeter mounting or gauge mounting in the vent but still have airflow etc.

With your expression of interest could you also please put what you wouldn't mind paying for them.

I have to work it out yet but i'm figuring they would be arround $200/pair or $110ish each. < I really dont know yet, could be more or could be HEAPS less.

As most of you will know, they are no longer available from Nissan unless you purchase a whole new door trim for $800 for one side and $1300 for the other. Plus Japan only have single digits of each left in Japan, no longer made.

If i go ahead with these i may also throw in free targa buttons with each purchase! Or can be bought seperately for $20pair.

dude it all sounds wicked! is it possible tho to show a few pics maybe of what u had in mind, but from the sounds of it i'd be pretty intrested. with the pop out vents would u be able to get them in chrome??? and this mite sound dumb but what is a targa button?

Chrome paint??? lol. I simply tint the plastic when i mould them.

What do you want pics for? They are exact replics of the originals with a couple of Devils enhancements (where they tend to break).

This is EOI: If enough people want then i will make a mould of these ones i 'fixed up'.
If not then nothing will happen and the pics would just be of stock ones with small differences that most of you wouldn't be able to pick up on anyway.

If you have a look through the gallery you'll see some pics of ones with tweeters and gauges in them.

When i mentioned this, i was more implying that someone, if they wanted, would tell me roughly what they want, i'd scetch something up and see what they thought then do it.

im interested, the price is a big issues but never the less interested. is it hard to get these vents out? mine are a bit buggered up. Well so is the whole door trim, I hate that squeaking noise it makes :P

Yeh they are easy to get out. just remove the door trim and then there are a few screws on the back of the trim holding it in place. just unscrew the and it will pop out

fuck yeah devs. can u make me a set of red ones? oh can u make the drivers side with out the vent? i want to put a boost guage in there or switch panel. so prob jus have it sealed so i can put holes in it and shit like that for switches or guages. ill pay 240+postage if u can make up red taga knobs to match

I will make them anyway (the moulds) would be good to have for future purposes.

Will have the moulds ready in a couple of weeks hopefully.

shibby shibby. well its the same red as the red u get on the monza vinyl gear stick boots. commonly found in places like autobarn and stuff like that. most of my interior is that colour so yeah thought i would stick with it. i was goin to go flouro pink but...... eat shit im goin pink lol

also on the drivers side where i was talkin about having it as a solid blank spot, do u think u can recess that area back about 5mm? jus so that switches will fit in there easy. if u can would be sick sick

Hey Paul it'll be hard to get your yellow write. It might be a little brighter!

Red wont be a problem and Purple... again there are a few different shades would be hard to match.

Should send one of the little plastic clip things that sit inside the door arms in an envelope to him. I imagine it wouldn't be all that expensive.

I meant for him to send you one of his, which is painted yellow so you could use it as a guide for colour matching, and then you make/send his vents, you could just chuck the plastic door clip in the package with them.

Nar what i mean is that palstic die will dry to a different colour than paint. So it would be extremely hard for me to get it right. And i'd need to do alot of 'testers'.

dude i shut my door and the passenger side one fell out...it broke all the little screw plasticy things that hold it to the door...i need a new one...im in!
