Umm... has this board kinda died, like there's no ppl anymore. I swear there's like 25 ppl or so that only write on it, whens the exaclub.net url come back cause in perth we lost like 3 ppl cause of it and i don't know em out of the club.

its picking up.. more ppl will come back when they remember the old url... if they dont ... message as many ppl as you ... that dont know the new one...

the good thing is the chatroom is picking up again ...

But a week prior to this we had nearly nothing in terms of hits... so we're definately making the numbers come back. Plus we had 1000+ registered members on the old board and 275 here. But we'll get there just like with the old board the numbers came back pretty fast. I think it's good to get rid of one time posters though. Therefore we get alot of regulars here.

I've submitted this new url to all the search engines in replacement of the old one... some haven't changed yet, hopefully the google entry will change in the next few days.

anyways, there was nothing we could do about the domain and the old server. I tried every possible avenue to keep it going. The host walked off and went to queensland and shut down business and only told us via email 2 days later. He also didn't respond to any phone calls, and disconnected his mobile!!!! :mad:

anyways, hopefully we'll have the domain "exaclub.net" back eventually, as at the moment, it is in one of our old member's names who we can't contact... :P

we kept a backup of everything off the old server except the bboard (because ikonboard was such a farken pain to keep a backup of). I might be able to retrieve it on a CD if i'm extremely lucky, and if i can actually get in contact with our old host.
We changed to this bboard, as it is more stable, has more features, is a smaller package, and is easier to keep backups of...

i'd talk on here more often but as everyone knows i have to look after my celica board first, i moderate loads of forums and everyone seems to come to me for reakin advice! they seem to think aussies are smarter than yanks,,,,, oh wait,, no , they have a point there :P

so yeah but i'm trying to post on here as much as poss :)
