place for cd changer

anyone got got good ideas where to put a cd changer, I wanted to put under seat so it would be difficult to steal, on the passengers side there is a box that prevents that, ideas appreciated. thanks, lesdoit:afro:

i would put it under drivers seat, easy to change cds, hard to see and difficult to steal

That box under the passanger seat is your ECU. When I had mine I sat it behind the passanger seat and just had the seat back far enough to where it was out of sight. While I had it I was thinking of 2 locations to mount it, either in the rear seat (mounted to the floor under the rear seat and customize the seat) or in the back corner between the wheel well and the taillight (build a small section flush with the rest of the rear panels).

I've already got an amp under the drivers seat that I've had for 12+ years still going strong, I actually thought about behind the ecu on passengers seat but since I have a daughter and other kids that sit back there, that option is out, customizing the seat there is an idea, I just might make a mount under the glove box so it will be a quick mount and just take it out at night, I usually just leave my doors unlocked so I don't get the broken window again and when the door opens it sets off the alarm and the noise sets off the alarm in the car next to it, pretty sweet, I am also considering putting hood pins that lock the hood down in the trunk so that it will lock, has anybody tried this? :afro:

how about in one of the rear cup holder things that are arm rests. you could easily modify that to hold a changer securely. Also, there was a post about putting covers over those holes with padding to make them a real armrest, those would hide the changer and would make it look like it was factory built.

how about this...

10 disc stacker inbetween the seats, easily hidden, lower the lid.

easy to do too, just cut out the plastic and sit the stacker in there, it has a lip over the top too so to get it out u need to take out the whole thing :)

You could either have it in the boot or in the Glove Box if it fits.....Just sugestions:D
