The other day in the CHAT ROOM
someone was asking what revs are at about 100KM/H
well i took a pic today..
a shitty pic,
but u can still see...
revs are about 2800-2900 RPM

that is after about 1hr of driving, (5 mins on hi-way) .. and it was already warm b4 i started driving ..

is that still the radiator outa the red exa ??
dam its doin a good job still.. did u get the old one fixed yet ?

(i think b00st has it so that every msg that is new on her, it SMS's his phone or somethig.. so fast to reply :rolleyes: )

anyhow... yeah.. it is a radiator out of a 1.8L (my exa is 1.6L)
moddified thermostat ( thanks to my mech )
and alot of new hoses ( also thanks to my mech )

My temperature sits about the same level SilvEXA. I don't ever have to worry about overheating. Isn't it great? :D

:hitwall: Man that's not fair, i got a reco radiator , new hoses, thermostat, all pipeing and the block blown out, as well as a reco head and my temp on a soso hot day still sits at almost half way, if it gets really hot i have to drive with the headlights up so to let in more air and keep her cool. :wavetongu :afro:

But my radiator is out of a 1.8L - i am sure there the same,
might be that the weather down there sucks ?? :devilburn

Try coolant, or get the thermostat redone ...
i am currently running 33% coolant 67% water ( tap water )

well thats weird my car is revving at 3400 at 100
so both our cars are 1.6l but does ures have a 1.8 gearbox?
i know mine doesn't

KAM. - mine is the standard 1.6L ( ca16de )
But it is bored out to a 1.8L ..
i dont know if that will effect it..
but that is the only thing i can think of,
it also has airpod & exhaust ...... :o
