i am sick of hte good ol' red rocker covers..
so i had mine re-done ,
My current exa i have only had just over a month...
and i am goin with the Green theme :stoned:
so here is a B4 pic of my engine bay... About a month ago !

I think the bright colours (green in my case) makes the under bonnet look, a lot much respective :) ... diffrent then the boring red ...
what ya reckon ???
(note - spot the other bits of (darker) green around the engine bay)

Yeah.. RWD silvia engine, with a turbo inlet manifold.
was told it is about 20KW more power then the stock exa 1.8L

The rocer covers are painted.. not sure how...
i took it to a mate, and he did it...
he does all types of engines.. maybe take it to a painting place, and tell them what you want...
they can probly suggest something...

but i am not sure how he does it..
i took my car there last night.. and got it back 3pm today..

Are the 1.8 covers the same as the 1.6
but any who look great.

CA16DEs have smooth covers whereas in every picture ive seen CA18DEs have little bump box things on em...

btw.. someone on www.nissansilvia.com has a tasty chromed timing belt cover for sale that would look nice on that. he might be in your city too.

I am not sure if the covers are just painted or powder coated ... will ask him on the weekend

He can do all kinds... chrome, coloured, blackl, clear ect..
and ANY part of any engine :)

to paint the rocker covers is easy as...
Theres ways to do it around in forums.
Basically take them off, strip the paint down, clean em up, re-paint them (high temp paint) and put them back on... whats so hard about that? lol
