Um, I just had the urge to go to the prom and was wondering if anyone else wants to come play. If I can get a campsite we may even go over night. :hippy: :cheers:

Anyone interested? Can you post which weekends you'd be able to do it too please. Either friday or saturday night is cool.

That sounds like a farken great idea. A few of us were talking about an exa camp a while back. Even if its not the prom.. grampians, gippsland, surf coast, snowy river, goldfields would all be sweet

Ok, heres the plan. We'll cruise down friday night, arrive there about 6 (just get there when you can Matty).

We'll try for a site at Tidal River. Much drinking friday night.

Saturday, if anyone's interested, we can do the walk to Sealers Cove (it's an awesome place), then head back to Melbourne at a leasurely pace.

Sound good?

I like the idea of a big communal tent. Does anyone have one? I can borrow an auto tent if no one else can get something, but they're a pain to set up and they don't have a floor. Leave that as the last resort.

Can I just get an idea of who's interested?

someone had better call the national parks service or whatever to book a campsite cos i know they are pretty busy during school hols... and technically you arent allowed to sleep in your car or under a tarp so we need tents (even if we dont use them! :p )

i topped up the oil, to make sure it was still good, no probs there...

and gusy member last night i needed a wee bit of water, it was cos it evaporated... not a hole in the radiator... now i got a leak in the engine... if she's bad... i am gonna do the cadet an not worry about it... so i can't drive... but if there is a seat for benrys i am in... otherwise i am out unfortunately

What time are we planning on coming back saturday, or were people thinking of coming back sunday instead?? I don't think I can get work off saturday night, so I'll have to be back before 5. Okay the number for booking campsites is 1800 350 552 or 03 5680 9555. Or we can get a day pass for $9 per car per day, or $14 for 2 consecutive days (one day ending at midnight and the next day starting that same midnight - so we'll be right if we just dont sleep!!). These prices are according to the PARKS VICTORIA website. I'm still looking into the campsite fees.

Jessie, have u booked yet?? I haven't called the park in case you've booked already, so yeah...
