hey i was jus wonderin about how much it costs for a new clutch? also is there any tricky things u need to know about when replacing it? i was thinkin of doin it myself. also is it a matter of taking off the passenger front wheel and suspension etc and sliding the gearbox out to put the new one in? and do u only replace the clutch plate or do u need to do other things in there aswell.
i dont need to do the clutch yet but i was jus wonderin how much and if it is a particularly difficult job.
cheers Ben A :afro:

i have had replaced my clutch twice lol. I got a GA16I tho. But yea. U gotta take off the cv half shafts, the starter, the wheels, brake calipers, the sway bar and all that, not to mention the reat mounts and the bolts and all that shit
and the destributor if u got one. The way i dropped it and put it back in is i lay on my back and bench press it into position. Well if u got any questions PLEASE ask. OH AND BE VERY CAREFUL ON THE BOLTS, when u put it back in. I messed a tranny up cause of that. so yea.. ASK AWAY...
