First little project for the corolla is under way. Its not finished yet but it should be soon.

Nah the wheels are different they are lenso s7 wheels on that corolla (its not mine). But I might get some for my corolla.

My corolla aint just any old gramma car. It be SX model with 100kw 4age engine. :D And the better looking interior. So it aint just a car its a ride as well. :D :D

I dont have the exa anymore :( Sad story

The exa does have more torque being a 1.8 and the rolla being 1.6. But the rolla has a better power to weight ratio. The rolla should be just in front but not by much. I have noticed the rolla seems to rev more freely then the exa too.

Almost finished (heheh yes I'm a slow ass I know). The speakers are pioneer 330watt 3way 6x9's.

carpet is going on tomorrow.

if your wondering why they are mounted on the bottom and not on top. it to hide them. The carpet still lets the sound pass threw with out any muffling.

i saw an exa with what looked like a factory parcel shelf. fully standard exa with an older lady driver.. is it standard option?

I don't think there was a parcel shelf standard for the exa. Maybe there was anyone know.

Havoknz the only specs i could find are for a 1986 1.6l 5 door hatch.

The carpet has sagged a little over holes for the speakers but u need to be looking at it on a angle to see it. One last step left before its 100% finished.

Oh cos i only have a crummy webcam u cant see the pit that i cut out in the other pics. It looks really nice in person.

hey dude if it isnt too late, maybe u could put some mesh over the holes so the carpet doesnt sag...

Nah its to late now hehe. I fixed it abit managed to pull it abit tighter. It wasnot really much you needed line ur eyes up level with the top to see it.

i had it in without the carpet last week. and i have it in the car now with the carpet and i cant tell any differance. The carpet is abit less then 1/2cm thick. It doesnot have any backing its kind of matted together you really need to see it to understand maybe. i suck at explaining things hehe. A local car triming place should have some i got the stuff from a place just down the road i dont think its anything special.

I was gunna do the word corolla in the part thats been sunken down but i have decided not to. I think it looks good as it is. I only have a crap webcam or mums camera but thats only film. I'll take some pics with that one day.

Finaly finished heheh I changed my mind again and put the corolla on. The lettering is made from felt. In one of the pics it looks like the letters arnt stuck down right but they are.

Fuck man that looks heaps sweet...
my mate did a similar job on his silvia...
but he put the word silvia under the carpet n the letters were made out of timber so it looked like they were poping out...
lookd heaps neat...
but the word corolla is even how it looks like on the badging of the car...

I found a toyota mr2 font on the net but lettering isnot 100% match to the corolla lettering the A is different hehehe.
